A B2B Doc Conference in Tallinn in February

How to fund documentary films in challenging times? B2B Doc invites decision makers to a conference in Tallinn, 7-8 February 2023

Documentary filmmakers have a particularly challenging time trying to finance and distribute their films at a time when there is an ongoing war in Ukraine, as well as other conflicts affecting all of B2B Doc’s program countries, Belarus, Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan. Despite the current difficulties, B2B Doc wants to look forward and find solutions for filmmakers in our network.

For this reason we are planning a conference with representatives for film institutes and other funding organisations from all partner countries for a discussion about possible ways of supporting documentary filmmakers. Colleagues from the Baltics and other EU countries will contribute to the discussion about our common future with a hopefully more integrated European film market.
