An evening in support of Ukrainian Filmmakers

Here are some photos from our film event Film, War & Independence that B2B Doc - Baltic to Black Sea Documentary Network arranged in collaboration with Svenska filminstitutet and Filmhuset by Ahouse in Stockholm on the 2nd of April.

The evening started with watching some fresh new shorts from the war, talking online with our fellow filmmakers Darya Bassel directly from Odesa and Stas Gurenko directly from Kyiv. Our special guest was the Ukrainian film director Olya Chernykh, who is in Stockholm right now with our support. At the end of the evening, the attended guests have watched the award-winning documentary This Rain Will Never Stop, supported by B2B Doc - Baltic to Black Sea Documentary Network. The film was presented by the film's editor Olha Zhurba.

All money collected during this event will be sent to support the Ukrainian documentary filmmaker, through the fundraising campaign launched by our colleagues from the Docudays UA International Documentary Film Festival (Міжнародний фестиваль документального кіно про права людини Docudays UA).
