The first B2B Doc Conference took place in Tallinn early February.
During two intense days we gathered decision makers from the film supporting institutions in the B2B Doc region and neighbouring countries. Together we discussed ways to change the future for the film industry in the war-torn and turbulent countries.
We chose Tallinn as the location for the conference since the Baltic region can figure as a positive example of post-Soviet countries that have developed national film institutes and public service television.
Representatives from the following institutions participated in the conference:
Armenian National Cinema Centre, Belarusian Independent Film Academy, CNC Moldova, Documentary Association of Europe, Documentary Association of Georgia, Estonian Film Institute, Estonian public broadcaster ERR, Georgian National Film Centre, German Films, Institute of Documentary Film, Latvian National Film Centre, Ukrainian Institute and Watch Docs Poland.
