In September 2019 B2B Doc took part in the 29th International Film Festival “Message to Man” in Saint-Petersburg, Russia. We arranged a two-day workshop "One Man - One Camera" for the students of the Film and TV University in St. Petersburg. Our tutor Jørgen Chemnitz from Greenland was teaching how to make high quality documentaries with limited technical resources. On the 18th of September B2B Doc arranged an open masterclass for documentary filmmakers, where international tutors speaking Russian shared their knowledge and experience how to develop a story for international audience and how to promote it at international market of co-productions.

Tutors were: Rebecca Hauzel, Malcolm Dixelius, Max Tuula, Anastasia Kirillova, Uldis Cekulis, Galina Stepanova.

After the masterclass the B2B Doc team conducted scouting of projects - an open pitching of Russian documentary film projects. Chosen projects were invited to participate in B2BDoc workshops.
